Questions We Often Get Asked

Have a question not covered here? → Get in Touch and we will answer it directly.

What types of surveys and inspections do you carry out?

We carry out on-hire and off-hire surveys, IICL 6.0 inspections and certification, cargo worthy surveys, seaworthy fitness certification, CSC plate inspection and upgradation surveys, condition surveys and damage assessments, post-repair inspection and verification, joint surveys with customers or depots, and repair estimation as per IICL standards.

How quickly will I receive my survey report after the inspection?

Our standard reporting cycle is 24 to 48 hours from the time of inspection. Reports include photographs, measurements, and a classified damage record. If you need a report faster than this, let us know upfront and we will confirm whether it is possible before you confirm the booking.

What does a CSC plate inspection involve, and when is it needed?

The CSC (Container Safety Convention) plate certifies that a container has been built and tested to international safety standards for handling, stacking, and transport. We check the plate for validity, legibility, and compliance with current requirements.

Can you carry out joint surveys, and how do they work?

Yes. A joint survey involves our surveyor conducting the inspection with a representative from both parties present — typically the shipping line and the depot, or the lessor and the lessee. Both sides observe the same container condition at the same moment, and both sign off on the same record.
